What is included in the Starter (free) plan?
Starter includes 5 invoices per month and unlimited quotes, so you can send real invoices without paying up front.
Who should stay on the free plan?
Stay free if you only send a few invoices each month, want unlimited quotes, and your first 3 free auto-chased invoices (a lifetime allowance, not a monthly one) and 1 free recurring series cover what you need for now.
When should I upgrade to Pro?
Upgrade to Pro when you need unlimited invoices, unlimited automated reminders (beyond your first 3 invoices, ever), or more than one active recurring series at a time.
What happens if I reach a limit?
You are never charged extra for reaching a limit - there are no overage fees. On Starter, once you have sent 5 invoices in a month, sending or creating another is blocked with a prompt to upgrade until the 1st of next month (NZ time), and any drafts you have already saved are kept. Voice invoices and Offsider chats each have a monthly allowance on every plan: at the limit they stop (with a prompt to upgrade on the smaller plans) and start again on the 1st. The free reminders and the free recurring series work differently: past your allowance the extra one is left switched off and your invoice still goes out.
What do I get with the Growth plan?
Growth includes everything in Pro plus the AI layer and the tools for a bigger business. Voice-to-invoice: dictate the job out loud, AI drafts the invoice, you review and send. Every plan includes some (3 a month on Starter, 10 on Pro); Growth gives you 100 voice invoices a month. The Lead Capture Widget - an embeddable "Request a Quote" form for your website, with new enquiries landing in your Enquiries dashboard and turned into draft quotes and emails automatically. And up to 5 brands or trades from one login - each with separate invoices, numbering, clients, bank details, and branding, all under your single tax number.
When is Growth worth $59/month?
Growth is aimed at businesses whose website gets enquiries they currently handle by email or phone, or who invoice enough that dictating them by voice saves real time. If you want those leads captured and organised in one place - and auto-drafted into quotes - on top of everything in Pro, Growth pays for itself quickly. It also suits anyone who runs more than one trade or side-hustle - say a handyman who also does design or web work - and wants each kept cleanly separate, with its own brand and invoices, under one login and one tax number.
Can I run multiple brands or trades from one account?
Yes - on the Growth plan, up to 5 businesses. If you do more than one thing (say handyman work plus design gigs), add each as a separate brand from the switcher in the sidebar and switch between them in a tap. Each keeps its own invoices, numbering, clients, bank account, and branding completely separate - all under your single tax number, so it stays simple at tax time. Archive one you no longer use and the slot is free again.
Is GST included in the pricing shown here?
Prices are shown in NZD and are the full amount you pay. Invio is not registered for GST, so no GST is added to your subscription.
Can I cancel Pro or Growth anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the billing period.
